Funds needed to help Father Young with Mission
| With
locations throughout New York State, Father Young's programs have
helped thousands of people turn their lives around and become
productive citizens. Now we desperately need your help to
continue this work. We are in danger of having to cut back on services, including housing, because of severe budget shortfalls. Because the economy is at a low point, the need for our services is much greater. In this time of great challenges we must be able to provide a pathway to success for those who have fallen. |

| It is
unconscionable to have to turn people away who want to better
themselves, to become productive, self-sufficient citizens of
New York. Imagine the consequences of having to remove people from safe
housing, treatment and employment. Without a safety net thousands could
be turned out to the streets, hungry, homeless and desperate. We all
understand the great need to help get people on their feet and get
stable employment. That is our mission, "to create taxpayers". Won't you help us to help others to put their lives back together. Perhaps one day there will no longer be any need to provide services for the addicted, homeless and unemployed, but today is not that day. We are in great danger of failing those who have fallen. Your donation will help us return people to productivity and discover the great promise of America. Please do what you can to help us build a better future for all. |

T.H.E. Telethon for Father Young |
|
| The
first Father Peter G. Young Telethon was held on Sunday, March 21,
2010 on WYPX ION Cable Channel and DTV Channel 50 from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.
This Telethon showcased the many statewide programs that Father
Young has been running over the last 50 years. T.H.E. Life Changer Telethon was a fund raiser in a year-long celebration commemorating Father Young’s fifty years as a priest. All year there have been several events to honor him for all the fine work he has done in our community and throughout the state of New York. His programs serve over 3,000 clients a day. |

| His three pronged
program
of treatment, housing and employment is crucial in helping a person
overcome addiction, take back his life and becoming a productive member
of society and a valuable taxpayer. Father feels that like a
three-legged stool without all three supports it cannot stand. Just as
a stool cannot stand with a missing leg, recovery cannot happen without
all three elements of this program. The Telethon highlighted his services and helped the viewer to understand many of the problems of addiction. Addiction targets all social and economic areas of society. If you made a pledge, thank you on behalf of all those you have helped with your kind intentions. Please send your contributions to: Peter G Young Foundation 40 Eagle Street Albany, NY 12207 If you prefer, we can also accept donations online, at our web site: www.pyhit.com Once again please accept our gratitude and the gratitude of all our Clients and Staff, you make it possible for us to continue our work. Please continue to remember us in your prayers. |
